The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

Everyone is needed to reach these ambitious targets. The creativity, knowhow, technology and financial resources from all of society is necessary to achieve the SDGs in every context.

The private sector has a crucial role to play in the achievement of the SDGs. As a law firm, we have the ability to make a significant contribution to the objectives set out in Goal 16, which include targets related to rule of law, access to justice, accountable institutions and non-discrimination.

At Boga & Associates, we enforce a strict anti-bribery and corruption policy which applies to all our people and take a zero tolerance approach to breaches. We also expect our business partners to
have similar policies which apply to all dealings with, on behalf of, or involving Boga & Associates and have a clause in our standard terms of business with clients which sets out our anti-bribery

Across the world 25% of people will be affected by a mental health issue at some point in their lives. We will all be touched at some stage of our lives by mental ill health, either personally, in our family or in our workplace. We recognize that, as a firm, supporting our people to take better care of their mental health, and improving our workplace health and wellbeing overall, is extremely important. We recognize World Mental Health Day every year through online wide communications, reminding people of the steps they can take to improve their health in general.
