I have always wanted to work at a top-tier firm. Being part of a top-tier firm means working with colleagues and clients of the highest level with regard to recognition and reputation. I found it as the best opportunity to develop my skills and grow my career. I knew I had to embrace the learning curve of my first few years.
What were your first impressions of the Firm?
The workload and time management. I remember asking questions regularly. I have had some very busy moments, but requesting help from fellow associates and partners made those busy moments seem less tense. Senior leadership is involved, and they really want to hear what is going on at the base.

I had already started my career in accounting, when I joined Boga & Associates. What do you think is most exciting about Boga & Associates experience?
The work can be intense and demanding. At certain points of work, there are deadlines that have to be met. That means that we have to get the work done even if that occasionally means working long hours. Team spirit is the key. The supportive environment, the direct communication with the partners and useful discussions with the working team, make you feel active and integrated part of the Firm. There is always something new to learn. On the one hand, this could be knowledge of the tax and accounting or a technical skill. I always learn a lot simply by observing our partners and those with years of experience.
What is the one thing that surprised you most when you joined the Firm?
Teamwork. There’s no way that you can get the job done alone. I rely on the accounting and tax team to support me, and I support them. When one of us is doing well, we’re all doing well.
What type of work have you been involved in so far?
So far, I have been involved in accounting services, as part of the tax and accounting team. I have been involved in bookkeeping, periodical declarations of tax returns, financial reporting, and preparation of the annual financial statements. I have also assisted my mentors on various tax advisory cases.

The long-established experience in the market for more than 25 years, make Boga and Associates different from other firms. Setting high standards on the work and the services provided to clients, coupled with strong discipline and integrity, are the fundamentals that make the Firm succeed and us, feeling part of the success.

After completing tasks and duties, staff retreat is always the best reward and memorable moment to keep.
What are you most looking forward to achieving at Boga & Associates?
Working on notable transactions would be extremely satisfying. I am looking forward to a career that combines problem solving and client interaction, and also getting involved on tax advisory.
